Welcome to the the Young People’s Service. We help support young people with diabetes from the age of 16 until about the age of 21 or until you leave college / university. Depending on whether you attend Aberdeen, Fraserburgh or Elgin diabetes clinics the contact details are slightly different however the range of services available and information listed below are similar.
We will meet you at clinics and can also keep in touch using text / e-mail / Near Me as we do understand how busy life can be. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if there is anything you would like us to help support you with in managing your diabetes.
The Moving on leaflet describes how diabetes care changes as you move from the children’s services to Young Person’s service.
